Have you put gun smith on your CV for this? :)
ha ha cheers Badges I've basically made them the way I would have if I was doing it for work. I'm pretty happy with how they are turning out especially the formula I'm using for casting; it keeps the guns pretty light but they are hard and durable.
I'll have to come and find out what material you are using and how you work your molds etc etc, would be good to find out what is out there for my own interests.
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.

Sounds good Mr Goota! What type of paint will you be using to finish? (Just so I get the correct sealer etc)

I pretty much always use automotive products so colourpak etch and surface primers, gun metal laquer. I'll probably use a etch black as the top coat; it's nice and thin, can be rubbed back easily (but not too easily) to the gun metal and can be sealed with an automotive clearcoat.

the other product I use a lot is design master spray cans. Very toxic but they are really thin really nice to use. I use them a lot for airbrushing.

So if you seal it up you can easily go over them with acrylic washes after. Man I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here's a few wips of my home made t -track. It's proven too expensive to buy in t track from overseas so I have estimated the dimensions of the track and made a master that has a curved underside so it will fit the outer barrel. I made a simple 2 part mold and am going to make another double mold to reduce the amount of casting I have to do for each gun.

I'm casting the t track in a semi-rigid urethane, really nice product should work a treat!
