Daylight Savings Adjustments

Post by MattG »

To keep your board clock (ie, the one that records post time etc) synchronised with NZ time, you need to switch daylights savings on and off manually in your Board Preferences. At the appropriate times each year, you'll need to check/uncheck the "Summer Time/DST is in effect" check box in your control panel. Here is a direct link to the page on which you can do this: http://swnz.dr-maul.com/forums/ucp.php?i=165

Update - am trying to get functionality in place to manage daylight savings automatically. It may be a work in progress :)

Okay, daylight savings changes should be happening automatically, but it'll be difficult to test until the next changeover comes around.

In the meantime, the system has attempted to determine your correct daylight-savings-sensitive timezone and location based your pre-existing timezone information. If your forum clock time (in the top left of the blue banner on most pages) is not correct, when the page is refreshed, then go to your board preferences and check your current timezone. If your clock is still wrong, despite your timezone being correct, please post details here.
