Death troopers at halloween

hey all played a Halloween gig with my peculiar band. Of course we had to go as zombie stormtroopers.

We did 'getting infected' gag on stage with camelpaks full of fake blood

An excess of fake blood caused a number of technical difficulties but we had a great time and surely this is the first death-trooper-in-a-band in nz???

one more. this is the technical difficulties part where blood went over the front of my bass all over my pedals, my hands kind of stuck to the bass neck everything got ..well...slippery

ha ha yeah we did Matt, also a zombie number we wrote called 'eat my town' all those zombie cut outs got attacked with axes, baseball bats and a chainsaw for a finale! so yeah as you can tell we are very serious rock band.....

I honestly don't know if we will do that show again it was a bit of mission. Still everyone had a good time the floor was covered in fake blood by the end of the show, happy times!

as for the suits HF they are kind of a 'stunt' suit that me and my mate made (mainly him to be honest) out of 3mm eva and very gloss white vinyl. It's awesome for playing in we originally made them for a paintball game and just to muck about in really. They're not hugely accurate but they do the trick

cheers mate it was very funny really we did the imperial march for our opener and then I yelled "welcome to the darkside m****r f****rs!!" which was a laugh really because the band is so NOT the darkside in any shape or form
