Re: Yoda prop wip
He's looking very accurate. Weathering should finish him off nicely.

Re: Yoda prop wip
Here he is completed all 66cm of him!
After looking at the head for a while I reckoned I'd over filled yodas gowls & neck (it looked like Yoda had the mumps! ) so I reshaped his polystyrene "skull", this is when I ran into a problem...I didn't use any kind of adhesion promoter in the paints I used so when I started mucking around with the head the paint cracked & literally fell off in my hands. Not all bad as I reckon I'd used too much green anyway so repainted Yoda this time using "Pros Aid -No Tak" mixed in with the acyrlic paints.
I also added more foam to the body to fatten him up a bit on SWNZ member Freddy's advice.

Awesome Postie. Looking good for someone who's reached 900 years old.

Sorry had to add this
I have a print coming through that has Yoda at the top saying,
"When 900 years old you reach look as good you will not."
Then I have Doctor who below with his line.

Re: Yoda prop wip
Thanks guys,
Your right Mr Goota the Pros aide has improved adhesion & flexibility of the paint a lot better although even using the "no tack" formula I've still had to apply powder, the original Pros Aide must be really sticky!!
