Star Wars Insider

Post by Reverend Strone »

How cool! My five year old daugher made it into the latest issue of Insider. :D

I must confess I don't regularly read the magazine anymore, but we had the lovely Mary Franklin of Lucasfilm visit us when she came to NZ on holiday at the end of 2008 and my daughter gave her a lovely picture she had done of her favourite SW character, Ahsoka. mary was thrilled by it and asked if she could use it in Bantha Tracks, her column. I had forgotten about it, so imagine my surprise when I picked up issue 114 of Insider off a news stand to flick through while waiting for an appointment this weekend and opened it to find my daughter's drawing proudly displayed with her name on it. It was a delightful surprise and my little girl Anushke was so thrilled. Of course it's a year later now, but she still remembered doing the drawing and Ahsoka remains her favourite character still.

Image attached. :) Please excuse my proud Dad rambling. :)

Dude, that's brilliant. So, that makes two official Star Wars artists in the family!?
