Loving the TIE and Sideshow Leia, that's on my wish list for sure!

Hearing some crazy stories about the lines/mobs trying to buy the 6" TFA trooper, wish companies would realise the demand for stuff like that and sort out a better system (Gentle Giant lets PGM members pre-order con-exclusives, so even overseas members like me can get one). I dislike the whole 'convention exclusive' idea in general, because it's 99% US-based, and international fans get screwed enough as it is.

In fact, one lady in front of me in the ‘queue’ (it was really a completely unorganised mob, to be honest) actually fell to the floor, and when some people backed up to give her space, others saw it as an opportunity to get that little bit closer in line to those six inches of molded plastic, with complete disregard for the woman’s safety.

Then, I was actually punched by another man to get closer. The person in question punched me in the ribs, and as I held my side in surprise, he cut in front of me. Apparently, he deemed it perfectly acceptable to cause physical harm for a toy.

This is just obscene. On one hand, it's an inevitable consequence of the system, but I still find people buying in bulk with the sole intention of immediately flipping them for max profit more than a little irksome.
