Despite four trips to California in less than a year, I could never find the Rebels Vader, which is why I was pretty happy to see this frowning face when I opened a birthday gift from Reverend Strone.
This Vader now stands next to the Kenner Vader from my childhood, something that makes me incredibly happy, each and every time I look at the two.
(Thanks, Dan!)

Re: Haul Thread
It was your due. I owe you many times over, my friend. He's a beautiful looking figure. It would have been so wrong for you not to have one.

Finally had to bite the bullet (Farmers had a sale) & buy the new Black Series mini helmets. Here they are with my current collection.

Wow, the two lines work very well together!
Question about the Camo Biker Scout - is that an official release or custom repaint?

Official release - I don't have the skill to do a paint job that well.Reverend Strone wrote:Question about the Camo Biker Scout - is that an official release or custom repaint?
They were sold in blind boxes, but the person who sold them too me was good enough to open them before I purchased. It made it a bit easier to get the whole set (of that wave). The Kashyyyk scout wasn't mentioned on any of the boxes, more of a nice surprise.

Re: Haul Thread
Thanks. I hadn't heard they were doing that one so it was a surprise. It's a perplexing repaint, though, not being canonical. The Kashyyyk trooper helmets from ROTS were only superficially similar, but not literally Biker Scouts repainted, which is why I was surprised to see it.
That all said, you have me really interested in these TOMY helmets, now! They look great.

For clarity: the back two rows are not new. I bought them around 2002 / 2003. I don't know how available they are now.Reverend Strone wrote:That all said, you have me really interested in these TOMY helmets, now! They look great.

Re: Haul Thread
It's been a good week for getting SW stuff.
From the first time I saw these last year they were on my want / must have list. Finally got the pennies together
Pic heavy, sorry.
The boxes are beautiful themselves.
Even the inside of the box is subtly good.
Fantastic looking figures.
Loads of weapons for the Fett
And a few for the Stormtrooper
The guns have movable flintlocks, and the swords can be sheathed.
I think these may be my favourite collectibles.
