Thanks - yeah, that auction has gone around a few times I think...might actually be useful to fill in a couple of my gaps....

The dates and page counts in the checklist in this page are based on a cross-referenced and validated spreadsheet ...if anyone is collecting the original comics, and wants a copy of that spreadsheet, get in touch.

nice work MG. The only magazine article I can remember when I was a wee lad was a article about how to build your own snow base for your action figures. Double page colour photo of the base; it looked amazing!

Actually no I don't think it was that one. I'm relying on very old memory but the pics I remember weren't as elaborate as that. More of a 'c' shape platform base on a rectangle board done in poly very much a hoth AFAIR. I think there was a hole in right side for luke to hang from. Oh man I was like 9 or 10 but I do recall it being from WW type magazine my mates mum had.....

Here's a letter than was written to Star-Words, by a friend, way back in '81: It was featured in the Marvel comics, not in the Woman's Weekly, but I figured it was worth posting in this thread...
