Death troopers

Post by oota goota »

Hi all just a few chapters into this book; am really enjoying it so far! good imagery in the writing; it draws from a few different sources (eg prison tv shows) but still retains that all important star warsy feel.

Anyone read this. What did you think? I've just reached the first spoiler in the book but wont mention it here

Interesting...I was wondering how "star warsy" it would be. Have reserved a copy from the library, and will give it a go.

When you've finished, I see that the first two chapters of the follow-up novel, by the same author, are online to hook people in to the book.

Thanks for the offer, but no need as I picked up a library copy yesterday, and am well in to it :)

Do you mean round about page 95? Yeah, wasn't expecting that.

Finished reading this one too, I really enjoyed it. Wasn't sure how it would work in the SW world, but it does. And I loved the 'surprise' too :)

Apparently there's a sequel? Red something? Anyone know I have forgotten the name.

MattG posted about the sequel a few replies up. It's called Red Harvest and there's a few chapters available online at the links he gave (and I think one or two more chapters are availabel now).

I just picked this up, which I'm starting when I get home.

I know I am anti-EU, but I love troopers and zombies, yo!
