I have only ever seen these on line, love to see one in the flesh.
These are made by csmaclaren & book face over on the rpf site.
The Darth ugly is their standard version but they have a nicer one called the quasimodo.
Both the Darth ugly and quasi helmets are made with anh, esb, rotj versions.
The quasimodo helmet face plate are made to look like the ghost host versions with the dome representing Don posts set up.

As with side by side comparisons yes fredstar will be the best in that field.
He's probably seen them as well.

Funny you should mention that because there was a recent comparison between the 2 helmets on the 501st Sith Lords forum.

Using my powers of OCD, I can say that the Efx Helmet is alot better in terms of shape and accuracy to the original.

The Darth Ugly Helmet has too much curvature at the top of the eyes so he kinda looks more evil than he should.

Vader should have a cold empty look to him with the eyes looking more like skull sockets than actual emotive eyes.

Good points there Fredstar

I have reviewed a number of the discussions on the Sith Lord forum and

while the EFX is a lot cheaper, quite a few of the guys on the forum seem to believe that the EFX is only level one material for a Vader.

So should I go for a nice helmet or pay the price for a more expensive model, some thing to think about that's for sure.

Vader is not cheap to do that's for sure

Yeah, Level 1 for detail but a simple paint job should fix that or simply get the Special Edition version which uses the proper 2 tone paint scheme.

What you will find is that those guys who don't feel the eFX is up to scratch are the one's who are selling helmets of their own ;)
