My workbench is too embarrassingly messy and disorganised to post photos of at the moment, but here are two projects in particular that I want to make headway on over the summer period.
The first is a Rubies DDC Defender...already very accurate apart from the colour. Will fill seams, sand, adjust a few details, and paint black.
The second is an EU Stormtrooper variant from the old Dark Horse comics that I'm starting on. More on that project in a separate thread.
What's on your workbench?

My bench is quite clear at the moment, mainly cause of the fibreglassing I just did. Usually it's covered in more junk or sanding dust.

Still needs the back grill section so will be cutting it close. Whats next is to give a few washes of blue and green and some black to dull it down and give it a little extra interest.
Lighting is a little different in the trailer shot below but I think it will be pretty close after some washes.

I started with Luke Skywalker from Return of the Jedi

Which I am pretty damn happy with, its as movie accurate as I can get it on my limited time budget but I consider it a work in progress. I made the shirt and pants you see in this picture. Next I would like to do up the Endor Strike costume he wears during his fight with the Scout Troopers on Endor. I have a mate who as a sweet suit of Scout Trooper armour and doing matchy matchy would be fun I think.
Been having a little problem finding the right fabric for the poncho he wears.
Love to know what everyone thinks.

Two coats of nice shiny white enamel applied! The teeth & voice decoder are easy enough but painting the thin black boarders around the traps & tears isn't my favorite areas to do & then there's the tube stripes.....
Once completed these two lids will take very different directions, one will stay nice minty & new while the other is going to get roughed up a bit!

Re: What's on your workbench?
Well, it's off the shelves next to my work bench, and it is Star Wars, so I guess it qualifies.
Spent a few hours working on an Uruk Hai sword for my son-in-law today, and had the problem of not being able to fit goggles, ear muffs and sun protection all at the same time. So - I remembered one of my still uncompleted first ever pepakura projects - a Navy Talker helmet which is eventually going to be a rebel fleet trooper. Some day.
It worked perfectly with the ear muffs underneath, just like the originals way back when!

Hey blaxmyth, you almost look like a pod racer
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.
