WTB: Helmet display stand & mannequin

Post by SlyClone »

Hi all,

I'm after a helmet display stand and a mannequin so I can work on and display my collection better. If anyone has anything please feel free to PM some pictures and price and we'll go from there.

Cheers,

Rick

There was a post on the forum a while ago that showed a paper towel holder from briscoes for about $20.00.
That would be good for showing your helmet.
For mannequins I would suggest trying purform in Auckland, they sometimes sell seconds at a fraction of the cost of the new perfect ones.
These will have minor flaws in them that usually are not seen.
I used to get mine from there for my LAPD uniform displays, they ship quickly and very reasonably as well.
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at both and see what I can come up with.

I agree with badges perform are really nice mannequins. the only thing is almost all mannequins tend be a bit err heroically proportioned :) So you might want to think about chopping up the form and repositioning/ resizing. When I finally get around to it I'm going to do this
