Once that was done,I folded the top edges to fit into the top of the grip. After test fitting in the grip I cut a piece of MDF and glued it in-between the bottom of the two sides of the mount

Next step is to cut out this template for the grip mount and fold up and clean the edges

More pics of the trigger group as progress is made and a comparison pic of a casting from Oota and the one I made with bought grip added. Note the difference in the guard position. It appears that this was common on some Sterlings. If I rotate the guard on the housing, it seems to match the position on Oota's casting from an original.

I am now working on the Folding Stock. Here I have replaced the cast arms with those made from Aluminium for strength.

Made the selector by cutting a groove in the top of a Cap Screw and then gluing the plate into it. The grooves in the plate were done with a cutting disc.

I used a 3mm letter punch set to mark out the A R and S but I will need to do them again to try and get them crisp.
