Custom display cabinet NOW FOR SALE

Post by Joel »

This is now up for sale if you're interested: https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listin ... 40&ed=true

Made a custom aluminium display cabinet and thought I would share it here.

I spent awhile trying to find something I liked and couldn't so made my own.
Happy with the result. Minor problem with the acrylic shelves sagging a bit in the middle but have sorted out a fix for that.

:)

That's very tidy! Would love to hear more about how you made it.

Cheers, yeah I made it so you cant see any fixings.
Here is a sketch if that helps..
Its like a shoe box, attach one part to the wall, fit the dividers and shelves, then slide the cover over the top.

Its made from ACM which is an aluminum sheet used for signage and cladding so it is quite lightweight. CNC cut and folded.

Fantastic!

Using ACM was a brilliant idea. I've used it for printing work onto. Excellent material - rigid and light :)
