Met him at Armageddon years back. Had a photo with him and got a signed pic.

Re: R.I.P. Kenny Baker (81)
Sad news.
As I posted over on the SWNZ FB group...Although his visibility was minimal, he'll be remembered as being there from the start. His relationship with fans and presence at conventions always went down well. I'll never forget the adventures we had when he was in NZ in '03.

So sad to hear I got his autograph during his visit here in 2003 - he was a pleasure to meet.

Back in 2003, I was collecting autographs in my Chronicles book. Very glad to have had the opportunity to get Kenny's at that time. His visit to NZ was during a bit of a heyday in terms of visiting Star Wars celebrities.

Re: R.I.P. Kenny Baker (81)
i feel that the passing of mr.kenny baker deserves better than to be announced in a 'general' posting, seems larger than this and im sure matt agrees, but regardless, here goes.
my two eldest [now twenty, and twenty one years old] met mr. baker at a geddon expo many years past.
i have a framed autographed pic that he signed for our two.
my girl was very young, and i have home video of her excitedly pointing out "kenny baker" to our home audience
tom,our eldest son was very much taken with mr.bakers manner. he was very professional. i instantly liked him,i'll never forget him.
my two cents.
the most excellent astromech in the galaxy has left the building.
god speed kenny baker
MTFBWY.
always.

I was just looking through some images from a recent trip to Rancho Obi-Wan, where I saw this one... thanks for the memories, Kenny!
