I am so incredibly jealous! The 3 days we had at Disneyland flew by, and knowing that the SW additions are all coming so soon - makes me so keen to return as soon as possible (though realistically not for a while, unfortunately).

The initially-announced date for the new 'Season' was early 2016, with ground breaking on the new SW land to begin 'no later than the end of 2017' - so if areas are closing on January 10th 2016 to begin work, this is all happening so much sooner than expected!

Currently, there's no end date.

And, since April is said to be when The Force Awakens is released for the home market, I'd say that it'll still have a footprint at Disneyland.

Woah, three days? I am done within four or five hours, max!

Saying that, I'm not big on Disneyland...

I tell you, as someone who could never get excited 'bout visiting Disneyland, I still got goosebumps when walking into Tomorrowland to see First Order troopers and hearing the Maestro blasting over the PA... and that just only the beginning!

While the Launch Bay is cool, there's not a whole lot to see, but there is loads to buy (if you are a collector, mind you, which I am not). From there, I quickly headed over to Hyperspace Mountain, which is well worth the wait. With that, it still isn't a patch on Star Tours, especially since the latter has a visit to Jakku! Not only was it cool to see the new locale, it was also very well done, bringing something new to the not-so-recently updated ride.

On the subject of collecting, while the Launch Bay has a lot, The Star Trader has even more! As I was saying to Kristy, there is now a lot of merch for the ladies, too: from Her Universe to Junk Food Clothing.

While in the Launch Bay, I saw Pablo talk 'bout the Wars, along with the rest of the good people at Lucasfilm.
