Gold Chrome Yoda arrived today from Mighty Ape.

I know a few collectors complained that these figures were boring but I really like the way they look. The gold chrome makes the sculpt stand out in a way that the coloured figures don't.

I do like the Celebration box art and convention sticker.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to get the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian because he's a really cool pop.

I like the amount of detail Funko put into the gun and backpack. It's good to have a different version Mandalorian helmet on display and his colours look amazing.

I've had a lot of people tell me that Boba Fett isn't Mandalorian because of the dents in his armour, not being Beskar steel, but what does that mean with this pops damage??

A couple more of my pre-orders arrived today from Mighty Ape.

The first is The Child Force Wielding Pop. He looks really good and Funko did a great job of showing the concentration on his face. The body is very similar to the earlier Child pops but they can't really do much else with it I suppose.

Both have the International Special Edition sticker....I would like the Walmart/Target stickers for a bit of variety.

.......and the second one is The Child (concerned look) figure. This has to be my favourite of the Child pops. It's the one that most reminds me of the character from the show.

Im not sure how many more different versions of The Child Funko will release because theyve pretty much covered all the bases with the ones already on offer.

Rose from Episode IX arrived in the post today and I'm so happy to own her. It's a really nice clean looking pop that Funko haven't tried to over do....theyve stayed close to her appearance in the film.

*Warning Star Wars rant to follow*

I was disappointed Rose was pretty much non-existent in TROS, her and Finn actually had a bit of character development in their relationship and I was hoping to see how it fleshed out in the next movie....JJ ignoring that relationship completely so Finn could meet Landos(??!) daughter seemed really rushed and forced.

Two more Funkos arrived from Mighty Ape this morning......

The gold version of Princess Leia from ROTJ, I like the gold colour a little more than the chrome versions because they don't reflect as much light so it's easier to see the details.

The boxes of these gold versions look amazing, I really like the accents on the black panels.....it stands out really well and gives them a special look.

Seeing as I got Leia from Mighty Ape I thought I'd better buy Luke as well.

This gold version of Luke is a repaint of the vaulted 2016 Bespin Luke and in my opinion is the better of the two.

I also Brought some of the Ape Basics 0.50mm Pop protectors and they're absolutely fantastic.

They're really well made and I've never had any issues with them. I feel alot happier knowing my pops are protected from knocks and dents.....actually not all of them get the protector treatment hahaha

My local Warehouse restocked up on Funkos and I managed to pick up R2.

He's a great little pop and like the C2-B5 figure I really like how they move at the shoulders and not just the head.
