Thanks. Now that I've re-awoken this long dormant project, I may actually get around to finishing it in the not too distant future. Will take more photos of the completely completed displays when I do.

I look forward to seeing them Matt. Your clear rod displays inspired my own set up.

On that note, I just got a bunch more new ships for my Star Trek MM display which I need to do some custom painting on this weekend before installing. Then it will be picture time, although I really need a macro lens. My 15 year old camera just ain't cutting it no more. :(

My ships aren't strictly Micro Machines but they fit in nicely with them, being a similar size and carrying coparable detail. I have been picking up ships selectively from the new HeroClix Tactics and Attack Wing games, which share the same base tooling. For the Star Trek fan they have a great range, delving deep into all the eras and even a couple of ships from the recent JJ Abrams films.

My latest acquisitions included a Borg Tactical Cube, Scout, Queen's Diamond and Renegade Borg Type 3, a Species 8472 Bioship, United Earth NX class starship, first season TNG series era Starfleet Shuttlecraft, a couple of more screen accurate Kazon ships to replace my MM versions as well as a Bajoran Transport and Assault Ship. Lots of nerdy ST fun. :)

There are two really great auctions for around $200-300 buy now on trade me for really great auctions for both action fleet and titanium.

So anyone here tired to hang the Y-wing's and B-wings from action fleet?
How'd you go about it?
I found X-wings to be really stupidly easy to hang but only in completely level (i would've liked them to have been displayed in a dive)
And the Ties were annoying at times but i managed to get them all up, i just found with one tie the y-wing loses its center of gravity and the B-wing just doesn't look great level, i might have to setup a second hook behind them just to have a shorter cord attached so they slope but if there are any ideas using one! ^_^

Here's our first picture of what appears to be our first look at the new mini 'micro machines' ships line from Hasbro at SDCC preview night!

Hard to tell the size of the minis from this image but hopefully we'll see more soon and get some info ...

Check out the image and many more from Hasbro's booth in full res over at ToyArk ....

They look roughly Titanium sized to my eye, gauging off the screw in the case and thickness of the plastic stand under the AT-AT.
