I did buy the three making of books that came out a few years ago and really enjoy them but another book called 'Star Wars Chronicles' by Deborah Fine would have to be the best book of this kind I've ever seen and I was actually lucky enough to get it for the rock bottom price of $25.

The pictures are so detailed and show so many models, masks, props, and costumes that were used in the original trilogy as well as information on the early versions of props. The Ewok/Holiday Special films are also featured which is great to see because they hardly ever pop up.

If anyone has the opportunity to buy this I highly recommended it.

Yep, pretty hard to beat that original Chronicles book. It was probably my first Star Wars "coffee table" book. I'm also quite a fan of any Star Wars behind-the-scenes book whose title starts with "Art Of...".

To be honest I haven't really collected a lot of books over my time but lately I've been picking up a lot......I think it might be because I really like the Micro Machines novel sets, I have two and like having the book/micro set combo.

I hadn't ever seen the Chronicles book until recently but am so happy I did.

Whaaaaaat? Only 25? That's an epic price!

For me, you can't go past J. W. Rinzler's books.
