STAR WARS (1977) SPOILERS!

In this article from 1976, the story of Star Wars is "spoiled", so be warned... but there's also some stuff on Uncle George's retirement, Disney, and a wooky [sic].
The Emperor's secret weapon is destroyed, the princess is rescued, and the forces of evil routed in a final spaceship dogfight conducted along World War II lines. The sinister Black Knight (Dave Prowse) is allowed to slink away, however, to scheme again another day, thereby keeping the door open for a possible sequel.
