Haha, yeah. I've seen that pic around Tumblr, and cant' read it as anything other than the Han Solo pic it was derived from.

It's in a book I bought the other day. There's another one too, where he has drawn the figure without the gun belt but left the creases in the pants as though the belt was there. Pretty sloppy.

You got it. I got the first one in the series, Spacecraft 2000-2100 AD, when I was about seven. It was fantastic, illustrated by all the big genre artists of the day. I've since been buying the rest as i find them. They are, well, not so great.

Yeah, "Spacecraft 2000-2100 AD" was great - I was fully in to those sorts of books as a kid. I've still got the Terran Trade Authority Handbook "Great Space Battles", and a bunch of other, related titles like "Worlds at War" and "The Alien World - The Complete Illustrated Guide".

I've got Great Space Battles too, it's ok, not as good as the first though
