Adding to the voice talent is The Fourth Doctor - Tom Baker, voicing Bendu.

Hey look, it's Spalko from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull! She makes a great Imperial officer.

Loving Bendu, loving the new looks for each of the characters, and the story looks really intriguing. I love that it appears Sabine will see a lot more development this season. I'm hoping for more of Hera this season, too.

Kanan looks like an ugnaught now?
What the heck is up with Kanan, he's almost like a mix of the village people meets the phantom of the opera!
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.

love that there are still battle droids out there
Join the Empire they said, See the Galaxy they said, yet here we are stuck on Tatooine

I wonder when we'll hear about scheduling for the new season to begin airing, even if it's only those first two episodes that lucky fans got to see at Celebration London, a couple of weeks ago? Last year we didn't have long to wait for the Siege of Lothal eps, once they had aired at Celebration Orlando. I am presuming Season3 proper won't start until late September or October, but it would be nice to at least see a two-part season opener sooner than that. Fingers crossed.

So this interview with Freddie Prinze Jr came out today. He is such a Star Wars geek, and there is some really cool insight into Rebels Season 3.

That was an excellent, if somewhat spoilerific interview, Eng. Thanks!

Assuming no brick and mortar NZ retailers are stocking the Rebels Season 2 BluRay, I checked out Amazon.co.uk and was very pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their asking price is. If you're interested in pre-ordering this title from them, by today's exchange rate it is NZ$33.68 including international shipping. It releases in one week, August 30th.

Linky link ...

Wow, that is a really impressive price from the UK.
Just ordered mine now, really good price considering that the warehouse still have season 1 on standard DVD for $45.00

It looks like the release has been pushed back to October 3rd :(

Even worse, it has been released today in the US - but only for Amazon Prime members! No date for the rest of us :( :(
