Jeez, for the Vader nuts who've been at it for 15 years or so, the idea of such a helmet is ridiculously cool.

Yup it is, as a newly converted Vader nut this is one of the best possible options going to be available.
Also this will be my first decent helmet for my collection.

There is a post at the beginning of this thread to the EFX website that fredstar has kindly put up for us, but remember that this is in US dollars and would need to be converted plus take into account postage costs and customs fees.
The other option is by way of mighty ape which have these listed for $750.00 odd dollars for our currency and they have the import charges on this.
I don't know if mohock have them up on line yet, I'll have a look.

it's a nice looking helmet! Is it injection moulded? I REALLY don't want to start collecting this stuff but man that's tempting :)

Yeah I got an email from mighty ape and seen this on there, was hoping to get it a bit cheaper than $750 tho but I can't see that happening unfortunately. Might just go ahead and pre order

It might be the safest way to go and when you think about it the difference in price is minimal compared to doing it your self.
My helmet that I am working on is an unfinished one from California that cost me the same as the new EFX one and that is finished.

In the past I've ordered direct but paid for it in the pocket. You could request that they lower the value of the helmet when shipping so as to avoid any customs fees?
