Here is the finished product.
I made too many mistakes and tried to be fancy with the power tool.
It has a good feel and weight to it but on inspection too many bumps and uneven places on the gun.

I am just going to leave it as it is for now.
Will need to make some power cells and flexible cord next weekend.

Hi the book gives only a brief overview on the costumes.
I was expecting more on the detailing.

Bought it for two projects , My armour and also Yoda cloak.
Not enough details in there to accomplish either.

That's a bit of a pity, almost like the sideshow book I got as well, still you don't know till you get it.
Nice work on your blaster by the way.
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.

Ok now that the blaster is done, I am going to start on my armour.

looking good man. The helmet is the hard part of the armour so it'll be all down hill when you've finished that!

Nice. The shape on those teeth take a lot of time to get all squared off, but yours in particular look good.

Good work! Who made your bucket? It's pretty nice! And are those rubies blasters? Pis there someone in NZ selling them?

After a weekend going at it it looks like I haven't progress very much.
It was fun though i am glad I decided to do this myself, really appreciate your effort on the quality.

Doing the teeth is the easy part for me. I just happen to have all the tools.

The armour is an oota goota original. The best there is in NZ. Highly recommended.
The Rubies blaster, I bought from Amazon. I have imported 3 pieces to work with. PM me if you are after one.
