My new Obi Wan costume, sorry for the bad fitting.

Post by denodan »

Got my Obi Wan Costume, got it Saturday and had a costume party that night, but did not get it fitted correctly, so a poor picture and ill fitting, did not put it on properly, so the shoulder pieces hang down to far. And did not have the tunic even, but gives some idea of what it's like.

Will post a far better picture when I get the boots, belt fittings and light saber and take time getting the photo right.

The one taken was taken by my daugther, so forgive the ill fit, just posted it to give everyone an look how it looks. got it from Costumebase and later on better photos.

Mind you was in a hurry, so had to put it on quick

Tried it on again monday night and got it fitting much better, can get tricky getting these Jedi costumes on and lining everything up and getting it right.

got the medium size and fits just right.

Just ordered a pair of boots from here, as a place suggested for boots.

Not interested in spending a fortune on boots, so the above ones will finish off my costume nicely.

That's looking like a decent start. The boots and accessories will really finish it up well.

It looks good :) After wearing 4 different jedi costumes over the years, I know all about the way the layers shift around! It takes a bit of adjusting to get it all sitting right (sometimes a few well placed safety pins help keep it together) - look forward to seeing the completed look with accessories :)

Have not thought about joining the RL. Got the costume for fun, and dressing up like Obi Wan, the thing I may change in time, when got all the accessories is a better Robe.

Here is my costume with Food Capsules,Robe, pouches, which you cannot see in photo and Robe. Waiting on boots, which are just plan brown, so I can also use with my Anakin Skywalker costume when I get it and waiting on an Obi Wan FX light Saber with removable blade.

Will get a better photo, but have it fitting Costume fitting better.
