Palpatine costume makeup

Post by MattT »

Hi guys

I am putting the finishing touches on my palpatine costume. Hopefully to be finished my Auckland Armageddon. Fingers crossed. I have brought a full head silicon mask but I need some glue or something to make it have better facial expressions. Anyone able to help me out with suggestions. The other thing I need is make up to age my hands, not sure what type of stuff I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Matt.

Sounds cool! From my limited experience, pros aide or spirit gum would be used with latex, not sure about the best products for silicone. I know http://www.minifies.co.nz/ in Christchurch stocks special effect make-up supplies - I'm sure they'd be able to help you find the best suitable products for adhering and ageing make-up :)

Thanks for that I'll have a look when I get home. I looked up body.co.nz but I'm unsure of West products to use. This is most of the costume so far. Hope the pic comes through.

Yeah, that's a really nice mask. The fabric for your cloak looks great too.

Thanks Matt. A friend of mine made it in America. She got the closest fabric she could possibly get. I need to get it hemmed up but other than that its all good. I'm finishing the Emperors cane at the moment.

Snibo, that would be cool!! Look forward to it!
