Anovos have put up their first Star Wars piece for pre-order - Luke's Bespin jacket and pants - though at this point it looks like they are only accepting orders from North American customers initially before international.

I agree that it is a fair price for the complexity. Sometimes its not immediately evident quite how much goes in to some of those detailed fabric costumes.

I wonder if theyre including the velcro in the jacket to stop it from riding up :)

Some pics posted over at Rebel Scum (when I say some I mean all of them :p )

It looks like some of the pieces were borrowed from other Vader prop makers (note the ANH gloves) just for this display, but my main focus is the helmet.

Have to say, the helmet does looks pretty awesome, I do like the mounting system using magnets and a slot to lock the dome firmly in place.

Hopefully it is indeed a screen accurate Darth Vader from ESB and if so, it's on the shopping list ;)

Preorder pricing is up (US only) http://www.anovos.com/products/star-war ... -pre-order

~2k for basic version and just over 4k for the premium version (difference is basically real vs faux leather in the bodysuit & gloves).

Those prices are pretty good. I wonder what the stance will be on this gear getting approval for trooping, otherwise it's perfect for a Mannequin Display without having to muck around trying to source all the parts.

I did notice one thing though....on the Anovos, the eyes seem slightly too large to be cast from original molds compared to a Don Post Deluxe which has true screen used lineage.
But hey I could be wrong ;)

I've been bitten by the Vader bug and just ordered lots of gear for a costume from around the world, pity this wasn't seen first I would have just bought this one complete.
I have two helmets coming, a complete suit from custom props and all my armor pieces from the states, yay can't wait to see it all together.
Doomsday and Armageddon got together and had a baby and man is it ugly.
