In July, my buddy, Robert, and I conspired to make a custom Fett lid to give to Simon Pegg at the red carpet premiere of The World's End in Wellington. Long story short, Simon got it, loved it ("****, is that for me?") and wore it as a disguise to walk the floor at SDCC:



Then, last week, an artist who knows Pegg (and lives in New Zealand, no less) did some amazing art celebrating it:

While it was my idea and my design, the real credit goes to Robert, one of Wellington's most talented *****, to be sure!

I saw a few photos from SDCC of Simon wearing this...he seemed to be genuinely pleased with, and proud of, it.

Paul Shipper is a good guy (have been working with him on an SWNZ article/interview for a while)...he was at the last Hamilton Armageddon, and will be at Auckland Armageddon in October.
