Competition 14 – Collector Spotlights

Competition number 14 – the first SWNZ giveaway for 2005. The prizes: first prize mixes prequel and original trilogy collectibles by including both a brand new IG-88 Unleashed figure from Hasbro (renditions of this bounty hunter have been rare to date, and this one is fantastic), and an official, huge Episode 3 teaser poster… and the second exciting prize includes not one, but a pair of hard-to-find silver action figures – the 2004 Sandtrooper, and the 2003 convention-exclusive Boba Fett.

Competition entry this time round will be a little different, and will involve audience participation! Those of you that have been regular visitors for a while will be familiar with the ‘Collector Spotlight’ articles that show up from time to time. In these, New Zealand Star Wars fans share photos of their collection, and tell a little bit about themselves and their hobbies, as brief or as detailed as they like. Entry into competition 14 involves submission of photos and a brief text summary to form your own collector spotlight. People who already have an existing Collector Spotlight need submit a minimum of 1 photograph and as little as a sentence or two detailing where they currently are at with regards to Star Wars hobbies. If you don’t yet have a Collector Spotlight article on the SWNZ website, then send in anywhere between 2 (minimum) and 10 photos/images of your collection, or items therein, and a paragraph or two describing your Star Wars interests. If you don’t have access to a digital camera or scanner, then you are welcome to send in printed photos – email me at the above address for more details.

Entries close on Sunday 27th of February, and the winners will be announced on Monday 28th of February. Get in quick!

A random draw after the closing date will determine the winners. Good luck!

Competition is closed.

Entry is open to all SWNZ regulars who are New Zealand residents. Only one entry per person. Winners will be contacted by email (valid email address is therefore required). SWNZ reserves the right to use all submitted entries on the SWNZ website – these can be presented using firstnames, of the entrant, only (by request).
